Summary: The Bario Hotel is a lovely property with beautiful historic buildings and a great location. We only stayed one night and so very much appreciated being able to park in their free secured lot while we explored the local sights before check in and after checkout. The staff were so friendly, our room was very clean, and the pool was divine for cooling off in the evening.

Summary: The pros: • Convenient to lots of restaurants and attractions. • The pool is open 24 hours • The rooms are simple, but equipped with everything you need The cons: • Lots of private events that make it to where you can’t utilize the bar or restaurant. • There was tons of noise from someone nearby that literally would scream for 6-8 hours straight at night. It made it hard to sleep at times. Not the hotels fault, they can’t control the nearby neighbors. I’d stay again, but next time I’m bringing ear plugs and my own bottle since the bar probably won’t be open to guests anyway.

Summary: The standard is like a guesthouse. Nice atmosphere. We got the wrong room on arrival (not an upgrade), but it got sorted the next day. Stayed here almost 2 weeks, great with the big parking space.

Summary: My wife was injured during our stay in Curacao (not at the Bario Hotel) and the staff went out of their way to ensure she was comfortable and able to enjoy the remainder of her stay in curacao. Would recommend this Hotel to anyone who cared to listen to my opinion.

Summary: This review is truly a mixed bag, so let's start with the positives. Pros: The location is perfect. Close to restaurants, bars, the Queens Bridge, Rif Fort and so much more. The staff was helpful and friendly. There is a bar and restaurant on the grounds, so that option was great. We stayed in the deluxe apartment which allowed for plenty of space, but also presents a few challenges. Negatives: You will need to pay close attention to the amount of electricity used daily. You are asked to turn the AC off when you leave your unit which is tough because it was extremely hot. At one point we had no electricity during the dead of night because we exceeded the allotted electricity for our stay. Who knew?! There was no emergency number to call so we suffered a bit. If you select the deluxe apartment, there are steep stairs and the bathroom is downstairs, so if you are not able body, this particular unit may not be for you. Our bed was pretty bad. Very thin and the wooden frame is rather noisy. Not really comfortable at all. This did not bother us much, but worth noting, the Saturday night event is extremely loud. The band played until around midnight or so. All and all, great experience! My negatives were to highlight things for future occupants as I would still recommend this hotel.

Summary: Property is centrally located with easy walking access to restaurants and sites of interest. Also very easy to access main roads to drive to places of interest like beaches, diving and restaurants away from downtown Willemstad Staff friendly and attentive. Just a little TLC with ac filters and vents. I would suggest based on the room I was given ( which I enjoyed having the kitchenette) a mop to be able to maintain floor cleaner between housekeeping. Also liked the convenience of their restaurant facility, enjoyed the breakfast. No doubt i would stay here again. Looking forward to my next visit
